The background to the brief

Volkswagen Group has eight ‘behaviours’ they encourage employees to adopt. Woodreed were asked to launch these behaviours internally to allow staff to begin to engage with them.

Our solution

For messages to be absorbed in the office, you need to put them in surprising places - wrapping the messages around them and interrupting their daily routine. So as well as a booklet, briefing CDs and Z-cards, posters and graphic panels, we made mugs and even tins of sweets ambient media for our messages.

It’s the (One) Business!

With such a positive response from staff, Volkswagen Group have now prioritised Internal Communications at the highest level and are now planning to overhaul all ambient, electronic and environmental media to support the ‘One Business’ message, which was launched through this campaign.
