The background to the brief

Consider how to breathe life into a tired conference format to get staff really engaged with the information - leaving them feeling they were all part of one team.

Our solution

Make AXA Insurance staff ad directors for a day!

Attendees were put into teams and given a brief to make their own 30 second spot for Corporate Development. Given a box of props and their own production team, they had three hours to write, direct and produce an ad.

Post conference, a desk drop was sent mimicking the famous D&AD yellow pencil containing key messages from the day.

Cannes Lions all round!

The key corporate information was easily absorbed by attendees as they were using this content to create their commercials. The ads took on a viral life of their own as they were emailed round the office and beyond.
